Looking for a Few Good Links

While I do a lot of surfing, I don’t always find the best sites. So I’m turning to you for suggestions and links. If you find a good astrology, coffee/tea site, book site, or cat site, please post it in comments. I’ll visit them all, and put them along the sidebar along with all of the other good stuff.

With Mercury soon going retrograde,(January 28-February 19) it’s a good time to get caught up on back paperwork. Indeed the retrograde is a good time to catch up on old correspondance. (Just don’t do anything new that’s non routine or sign any contracts-there may not necessarily be a meeting of the minds during this time). If it snows during the period, you may want to add even a little more time to your travels than you are already adding: snowplows going up the wrong street, whatever, ill-timed forecasts, unexpected delays because a street was left unplowed that was a priority. Fortunately for the peace and tranquility of the commons, this is a time when people expect weather-related delays , so things should go smoothly.

Mercury is in Aquarius, along with the Sun, so I expect there will be a lot of news regarding legacy electronics, failed tech promises, and some disruption due to problems with the electrical grid. You may want to wait to replace that Ipod until Mercury goes direct. Revolutionary ideas are probably better mulled over than disseminated now.

As for political contests, and contests in general, Mercury retrograde adds confusion. Voting registrations get mixed up, people can’t find polling places. It certainly isn’t a time to trust electronic voting equipment to do its best.

It also favors the underdog in a contest. Election Day 2000 had a Mercury retrograde: Gore was favored to win: nuff said.
