Saturn in Virgo-Counting Pennies

Saturn is usually known as the disciplinarian, the taskmaster, the timekeeper. So just what is being kept and disciplined while Saturn is in Virgo? Issues of public health and cleanliness-look for new health laws.

Saturn in Virgo is the practical side of technocracy: I expect a greater emphasis on technical accuracy and efficiency during the next two years. No more fuzzy accounting here, greater scrutiny, more practical expression of technology.

People will expect the streets to be cleaned, the bridges to actually hold up, and the ballots to be counted accurately no matter how long it takes.

Saturn first enters Virgo on September 2, 2007, just in time to sober up that Labor Day weekend and to remind us once again of the real purpose of Labor Day. The real purpose is to honor the workers who keep the nation going and striving everyday.

Virgo in the United States Chart is co/ruler with Leo in the Ninth of Religion and Foreign policy. I expect a greater emphasis of social purity on one hand, and greater clarity and practicality on the other. Errors in both are going to be noted rather quickly by ordinary people.

On Libra: The Balanced Scales

Well, the temperatures are now beginning to drop (for how long will we have a fall in the age of global warming) and soon the leaves will change from green to gold, brown, and orange. But those of us who look skyward see other portents. Tomorrow morning,
Sept. 23, 2007, 5:51 A.M. EDT-I’m doing the chart for Washington DC-the Sun enters Libra. You can do a chart for each season and from it take hints as to what may take place during the next three months.Fall 2007 US Transits

What I am doing in this forecast is comparing the United States Chart with the Fall Equinox Chart to gauge what takes place over this period until the Winter Solstice takes effect. One thing I noticed immediately is the Transiting Yod (Called the finger of Fate, it’s two planets that inconjunct a third, and then sextile each other.) The combination makes for a fated adjustment. Jupiter/Sun/Chiron combined make for a bit of insecurity about who we are as a nation. Jupiter in the first makes for confidence, but with Sun in the Eighth, it’s borrowed money and how we borrow it. With the aspect to a Taurus Chiron, it brings up our insecurities regarding security and assets. Money should be wobbly during this season. The big aspect I noticed is Pluto squaring the U.S. Midheaven.(T) Pluto squaring the Midheaven just spells out the battle of wills and the battle America is having with the rest of the world. The trines: Sun trine Pluto, Mercury trine Moon, Moon trine Saturn,(T) Neptune trine Natal Mars The Neptune trine suggests that a great deal of activity is driven by our dreams. War looks deceptively easy, but setting off that Natal square, it feeds our crusading illusions, (T) Chiron trine Uranus. The squares: (T)Moon square Chiron. Today, the public mood is edgy, sensing vulnerabilities and the influence of unhealed wounds and unhealed conflict. (T) Mercury square Mercury, too fast to speak, too slow to understand, communication is at loggerheads
The sextiles (opportunities if taken): Mercury sextile U.S. Midheaven (there is an opportunity to constructively talk to the World), Venus sextile Mars, Jupiter sextile Saturn, (T)Saturn sextile Venus (opportunity for sober relations), (T>Pluto sextile Moon (opportunity for deep emotional growth). The inconjuncts that need adjustment: Moon inconjunct Sun (inconsistency between public mood and national will), Mars inconjunct Pluto (inconsistency in war and asserting oneself with large impersonal forces and entities), Jupiter inconjunct Sun (an insecure optimism, perhaps gambling what one does not really have), (T) Jupiter inconjunct Chiron (optimism belies awareness of hidden flaws), (T)Uranus inconjunct Saturn(freedom or repression-just where to draw the lines?).

Well, I’ve moved. How do you like the new place? Reasons why can be found on the old blog at http://carolduhart.wordpress.com.

Moving

I’m moving. Now a quiet complaint. I got tired of having to change browsers all the time in order to post, and not being able to really customize this place the way I wanted to. And charts never really looked all that good in this place.  Not to mention that my slideshow never showed up in Internet Explorer along with other features.  So I went back to my (nearly) abandoned blogspot site and changed it to

http://carolduhart.blogspot.com

Around three pm EDT, everything should be in place for the grand launch!

Thanks to everyone who stopped by this place and have been an encouragement for me to write. Even though there have been few comments, I’ave been gratified to know people have been at least reading.
